Recruitment MethodologyReceiving the job specification Job specifications, once received, are loaded onto our internal recruitment software. We clarify the role requirements and package offered with the client. For new clientele, we will schedule a visit to the client’s premises to gain an understanding of the company and departmental culture, and meet with HR personnel and line management to further understand the company’s challenges, goals and expectations from an agency. Please note that prior to meeting with a client we will conduct online research into the organisation so you can expect our team to already be quite knowledgeable about your company before meeting with us. Once we have an accurate understanding we search our databases.
Attracting talent Should we not find the right candidate on our database we advertise the position on our website and external job portals. An element of “search” is normally involved in the process where we network with candidates and contacts to discover that perfect fit for the role. Advertisements are compiled with care by consultants who are trained in copywriting ads.
Screening When screening CVs we compare the CV accurately to the client’s requirements by extracting the most important criteria. Should there be any information missing from a CV in order for us to make the best decision we will clarify this with the candidate. We are prepared before we interview a candidate; each interview is unique and is based on the client’s key requirements for the role. Approximately 15 minutes of the interview is dedicated to marketing the role, company and industry to the candidate. We prefer our candidates to leave an interview feeling on top of the world, confident and feeling that they were treated with respect.
Assessments Equasion Consulting utilises E-Skill Assessment Software which is an online based assessment that candidates may complete at our offices or alternatively at a venue of their choice. In addition, we offer clients Psychometric Assessments.

Verification & Reference Checks All verification checks are completed by Kroll MIE as requested by the client. We conduct 2 reference checks. Reference questions are tailored per role and consultants can probe deeply into a candidate if needed. We ensure that we contact landline numbers only and include the name of the referee and the contact number should the client wish to verify any information.
Please note that we are able to work effectively with a client’s eRecruitment technology should CVs need to be uploaded online. Accompanying the CV are the testing results, verification results and references conducted.
Arranging Interviews We arrange interviews for the client with the candidate/s. We also provide clients with insight into which high skilled candidates may be in demand from competitors to ensure the interview is expedited to avoid losing the candidate to the competition. After interviews have taken place we make contact with both the client and the candidate to obtain feedback. Please note that candidates who attend interviews are prepared effectively by Equasion Consulting to ensure that the client and the candidate derive the most from the interview.
Once the offer is presented to Equasion will discuss this with the candidate. We will normally request a “dummy”
Follow-ups On the day the candidate begins work we follow-up to ensure that both the client and candidate is satisfied. We will
